Charlene Tsai

Charlene Tsai’s practice focuses on plaintiff-side employment law. She represents workers in a wide range of matters, including wage and hour violations, wrongful termination, retaliation, harassment, and discrimination cases.

Originally from Southern California, Charlene earned her law degree from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) in 2023, after graduating with honors from the University of California, Riverside with a B.A. in Psychology in 2020. During law school, she received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Critical Studies I: Writing. An employment law course sparked Charlene’s interest in workers’ rights. This passion was solidified during her third year when she participated in the Workers’ Rights Clinic, where she gained hands-on experience advocating for employees facing workplace injustices. That experience cemented her commitment to fighting for workers on the plaintiff side.

Before joining the firm in 2025, Charlene practiced at a plaintiff-side employment firm where she honed her skills representing employees in disputes against their employers. This experience gave her a strong foundation in employment litigation and deepened her dedication to ensuring workers receive the justice and dignity they deserve in the workplace.

Charlene is a member of the State Bar of California and the California Employment Lawyers Association and is conversationally fluent in Mandarin Chinese. Outside of her legal practice, Charlene enjoys spending time with her Yorkie-Pom, Xiao Hua, exploring new recipes in the kitchen, and baking sourdough bread.
