graphic of speakers at cyber risk summitOn October 6, 2020, attorney Anderson Berry will be a speaker for the NetDiligence Cyber Risk Virtual Fall Summit. He is scheduled as a panelist for the Private Causes of Action under CCPA session.

The popular NetDiligence online event features more than 90 industry-leading speakers and focuses on emerging trends in today’s ever-changing cyber landscape. The program consists of four days of free, CLE- and CE-accredited cyber risk and insurance webinar content.

A privately held cyber risk assessment and data breach services company, NetDiligence developed their conference series to cultivate a community where the cyber industry can share real-time insights. The events are attended by hundreds of cyber risk insurance, legal/regulatory and security/privacy technology leaders from all over the world.

A former federal prosecutor, Mr. Berry now represents state and nationwide class members in data breach matters for the Arnold Law Firm in Sacramento, California. He also represents whistleblowers in False Claims Act, IRS, SEC and California Insurance Frauds Prevention Act cases.

Mr. Berry represents the plaintiff for the first data breach class action case filed under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) that came into effect in January 2020. The landmark law gives consumers more control over the personal information that businesses collect about them and permits data breach victims to seek statutory damages when certain conditions are met.
