On January 30, 2025, Zenith American Solutions, Inc. (“Zenith”) reported a significant cybersecurity incident to the Maine Attorney General’s Office. According to the notice, on September 6, 2024, Zenith discovered that an unauthorized party had accessed consumers’ private and sensitive personal information stored in one of its employee’s email folders due to a phishing attack (the “Data Breach”). The Data Breach has impacted approximately 11,029 individuals.
Recently, Zenith began sending data breach notification letters to those affected by the Data Breach. Each notification letter includes complimentary access to credit monitoring and identity restoration services provided by JdentityWorks.
As the announcement was made only recently, Zenith has not yet disclosed additional details. If you received a data breach notification letter from Zenith, it indicates that you were affected by the Data Breach.
Zenith American Solutions is a leading third-party administrator specializing in Taft-Hartley trust funds, headquartered in Tampa, Florida. Founded in 1944, the company provides comprehensive benefits administration services, including health and welfare, retirement benefits, and compliance support. With annual revenue of approximately $315.1 million, Zenith employs around 1,006 people.
