Upon detecting unusual activity on October 25, 2024, GA Urology initiated an investigation with the assistance of third-party cybersecurity specialists. The investigation determined that an unauthorized third party accessed certain emails and attachments containing confidential patient information. Approximately 12,398 individuals have been impacted. Recently, GA Urology began sending data breach notification letters to individuals affected by the Data Breach. As of now, GA Urology has not disclosed any further information about the Data Breach.
