On July 3, 2025, Finastra Technology, Inc. (“Finastra”) reported a significant cybersecurity incident to the California Attorney General’s Office. The incident involved unauthorized access to Finastra’s Secure File Transfer Platform (SFTP) between October 31 and November 8, 2024 (the “Data Breach”). The subsequent investigation confirmed that certain files containing customer private data had been exfiltrated. Recently, Finastra has begun sending data breach notification letters to those affected. Impacted individuals are being offered two years of complimentary identity protection and credit monitoring services through Experian IdentityWorks. If you received a data breach notification letter, it confirms that your data was affected by this Data Breach..
