Meet Our Staff

The staff at the Arnold Law Firm are very special and talented people.  They take pride in their jobs and enjoy working with the attorneys and their clients.

In addition to working together, they enjoy going to community and charity events such as Walk For Thought, The Race For The Cure, and many other events.

Kelley Anderson-Atkins inherited her love of the law from her late father, who passed away when she was just eleven years old.

With the support and encouragement of her mother, she decided to pursue her paralegal certification with MTI College.

Brenda Balderas was born in Durango, Mexico, and moved to California with her mother at the tender age of three.

Ms. Balderas moved to Sacramento after completing her degree and accepted an administrative assistant position at the Arnold Law Firm. She enjoys the fast-paced environment of working in the legal field.

Shané Cartwright is a Sacramento native. Her family moved from San Jose, CA, and settled in Sacramento, CA, in the early 90s. After high school, she started a journey of self-discovery to determine her professional career path. Shane has a love for information and building her skill set. She often refers to herself as a Jill of all trades because of her niche to learn new things.

Joy Davis grew up in the California Delta, living in many places along the Sacramento and San Joaquin rivers. In 1990, she married her husband, Scotty, and moved to Sacramento.

Mrs. Davis began working part-time as a legal secretary at age 16 and eventually earned her legal assistant certificate in 1997. She joined the Arnold Law Firm in 2002, working as a paralegal and as the IT Manager.

Anna Figueroa finished American River with an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies in May of 2020. While she was in school and prior to working at the Arnold Law Firm, she worked at another firm as a receptionist and moved up to legal assistant, and eventually a paralegal for a little over three years.

Gonzalo Sandoval was born in Santiago, Chile, and came to the United States in 1976. He attended schools in Florida and Alaska before settling in Sacramento and earning a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the California State University. He also obtained a Juris Doctor in 2011.

Keoni Johnson was born in Sacramento, California, and raised by her dad alongside her older sister. At the age of 5, she started running track competitively. Her dad was her track coach, especially her most prominent supporter in sports and life. She spent her summers competing all over California and her winters training cross country. She would go on to compete in the junior Olympics at the age of 8.

Born in San Francisco, Sandra Kraft is native to northern California. She was raised in Clayton, a small town in Contra Costa County. She graduated at the top of her Clayton Valley High School class and was recognized for helping other students and school staff.

Lori Martin was born and raised in California. She started her legal education at 17 through a high school ROP Program. Her main focus was civil litigation. She developed a diverse range of experience in several areas of practice, which led her to the Arnold Law Firm as a case manager/paralegal for the data breach team.

Mahul’s childhood dream of working in the law field led him to pursue a Political Science Degree from UC Riverside and a Master’s in International Relations from UCLA. He has worked at four different law firms in the last 10 years. He has experience in debt and bankruptcy defense as well as personal injury at an appellate firm.

Javier Ruvalcaba worked in the financial field for 15 years as a loan officer and senior account executive in retail and wholesale mortgage lending. After the last mortgage industry crash, he decided to change career paths to a local workers’ compensation law firm where he worked in accounting for more than seven years.

Dominic Sandoval graduated from Del Camp High School in 2014 and went to American River College until early 2018. While exploring different career paths in his first two years of college, he became interested in politics and research and transferred with an Associates Degree in Social Sciences to California State University in Sacramento in the fall. In the spring of 2020, Dominic graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science & Journalism.

Being in and around the booming technology and digital communications industry has always stuck with her. Frances started her professional career in the San Francisco area, working with the buying offices of the major retailers as a national accounts sales and merchandising representative.

Larisa Stepanchuk was born in Zinkivtsi, a small town in Ukraine. In 1995, she and her family moved to the United States in search of better health care for her severely ill mother. They settled in Sacramento. After graduating from high school in 2002, Ms. Stepanchuk attended Fresno Pacific University, a Christian liberal arts institution. She moved back to Sacramento in 2004, continuing her education at American River College.
