Brenda Balderas was born in Durango, Mexico, and moved to California with her mother at the tender age of three. She was raised in Orange County, graduating from Loara High School where she was captain of the water polo and swim teams. Her acceptance into the University of California, Davis, brought her to northern California.
The oldest of three siblings, Ms. Balderas strives to be a positive role model for her younger brothers. She is the first member of her family to attend college, graduating from UC Davis in Political Science & History with a Luso-Brazilian minor in 2018. She is fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese.
Ms. Balderas moved to Sacramento after completing her degree and accepted an administrative assistant position at the Arnold Law Firm. She enjoys the fast-paced environment of working in the legal field. She finds it rewarding being part of a collaborative team and is eager to learn something new every day.
Outside of work, Ms. Balderas enjoys tutoring History and Government. After studying abroad in Portugal,Ms. Balderas fell in love with traveling and meeting new people – she has made it to nine countries, so far! On the weekends, you can find her hiking in the outdoors with her poodle Lucky and discovering new waterfalls.
