One of ten children, Olya Velichko was born in Lutsk, a city in northwestern Ukraine. At the age of 2, she moved with her family to the United States, seeking improved freedom and opportunities and settling in Sacramento.
Ms. Velichko joined the Arnold Law Firm in 2018, bringing her warm personality and attention to detail to her initial duties as a file clerk and receptionist. She quickly advanced to take on further responsibilities and is now the paralegal for Qui Tam and Class Action attorneys Anderson Berry and Gregory Haroutunian.
With an abiding interest and deep respect of the judicial system, she obtained her Associate of Arts Degree, majoring in Paralegal Studies at American River College, graduating among the top in her class.
In her spare time, Ms. Velichko enjoys spending time with family, cooking, vintage movies, exploring avenues of holistic healing, and hiking. Giving back to her community is important to Ms. Velichko, who regularly assists with the clothing closet at a local church.
