Keoni Johnson

Receptionist

Keoni JohnsonKeoni Johnson was born in Sacramento, California, and raised by her dad alongside her older sister. At the age of 5, she started running track competitively. Her dad was her track coach, especially her most prominent supporter in sports and life. She spent her summers competing all over California and her winters training cross country. She would go on to compete in the junior Olympics at the age of 8.

Her success in track fell short when she had to stop competing at age 13 because of an injury. This gave her the time and space to find what she was truly passionate about, helping others. She began tutoring students with special needs and became an assistant coaching a track team for people with special needs.

In high school, she delved into activism, organizing protests and marches pushing for school safety. She enjoyed extracurricular activities encouraging diversity and acceptance and was active in Black Student Union and Gay Straight Alliance. Her fervor for law grew when she joined her school’s mock trial team, coached by Insurance Defense attorneys Kyle and Karla Memmot. She learned that making a difference in her community starts with understanding the laws and legislation. She graduated from Del Campo High School in 2018 and was honored to be voted graduation speaker.

With a new love for politics and law, she enrolled in American River College, where she studied Political Science and Civil Rights. She wanted to be the change she sought in the world, which drove her to become vegan. She deeply loves the earth, reducing harm unto others and seeing life through gracious eyes.

She joined the Arnold Law firm in 2023 as a new team member as the receptionist. Her bubbly personality and love for helping others make her the perfect fit for our firm. She creates a welcoming environment for our clients and strives to provide the utmost care and compassion to the people we represent.

When she isn’t working, you can find her hiking waterfalls, cooking delicious plant-based meals, or playing with her three pets. She hopes to follow in the footsteps of her aunt Kelley Anderson-Atkins in becoming a paralegal here at the Arnold Law Firm.
