Kelly-Nicole was born and raised in Stockton, CA, by her father, who inspired her love of reading and law. Together with her brother, they would go to the college campus with their dad while he obtained his BA at the University of the Pacific. Through this experience, Kelly-Nicole genuinely appreciated all the hard work and sacrificed her father made to achieve his educational goals. Kelly-Nicole attended Lincoln High School, where she was a motivated leader on the Step Team and a proud member of the BSU program. After high school and briefly moving to Atlanta, Kelly-Nicole returned to Sacramento to attend American River College. She obtained her degree in Social Science and transferred to Sacramento State University to study Anthropology.
While studying Anthropology Kelly-Nicole was fascinated by how little she knew or truly understood the cultural intricacies of her peers. It was beautiful to learn how different yet the same we as people can be culturally. Anthropology was a motivating factor in Kelly-Nicole’s decision to pursue a career in law, and she took the first available position at a firm as a file clerk. From there, she was able to grow into a powerful Legal Assistant with the goal of becoming an attorney. Kelly-Nicole considers herself lucky to have worked with some of Sacramento’s brightest attorneys and staff and is thrilled about future opportunities. Kelly happily joined Arnold Law Firm in early 2023 and is a Legal Assistant for John Stralen.
When she is not at work, Kelly-Nicole is also an agency-signed commercial model and enjoys spending time with her three kids and two dogs, staying fit and active with dance classes and long hikes.
