On November 7, 2024, English Construction Company (“ECC”) reported a significant cybersecurity incident to the Maine Attorney General’s Office. In late September, ECC became aware of a cybersecurity incident within its network. Its subsequent investigation revealed that an unauthorized party had accessed consumers’ private and sensitive personal information (the “Data Breach”).
