Karen Lee is a Sacramento native who began working as a legal secretary in 1988. She moved from that to managing a commercial real estate development company for one of the law firm’s clients in 1995. Her career course shifted again in 2000, when she was given the opportunity to work for a private investigator who specialized in insurance defense work. She obtained her private investigator’s license in 2006.

The investigation company shifted its practice to include more plaintiff’s cases, and law firms began hiring Ms. Lee to investigate on behalf of injured parties. With an insurance defense background, she was skeptical about working on behalf of plaintiffs. However, she quickly learned that plaintiff’s lives are truly disrupted and their pain and suffering are very real.  She has found being an advocate for the injured party much more rewarding than her defense work.

In 2008, Ms. Lee joined the Arnold Law Firm as a case manager.  She enjoys developing relationships and working one-on-one with the injured parties.  As a case manager, she works closely with the attorneys in pre-litigation cases.  She takes great pride in seeing a successful outcome with each and every case.

Away from work, Ms. Lee is a court-appointed special advocate (CASA) for Placer County foster youth.  She is a proud mother of two daughters and welcomed her first grandson in 2009. Her passions include spending time with her family and friends, entertaining, cooking, gardening, traveling, exercise and any activity outdoors.
